Hey there!! Are you a gamer who also experienced the old but amazing times of gaming?? It is quite retro now when we look back at 90’s, but I remember those times when every new launch of console giants was a massive impact.
Now the next big thing, no, the next GIANT thing from the Japanese gaming tech giant Nintendo is their new portable magic maker “Nintendo Switch”. They gave a sneak peak of their new console a short while ago wit a three minute video in their YouTube channel. My toughts?? It’s REVOLUTIONARY!! Take a look at it:
I remember the time when Playstation 2 was first ntroduced to public. I was a little kid then but it was a life changing moment for me because I was a PS fanboy.
The same goes with Nintendo. My first experience with Nintendo was the legendary good old “Game Boy”. But as time passed and technology improved Nintendo also got serious in the game-biz and kept producing milestone consoles and products.
As you can see, Nintendo Switch is coming with the concept idea of “Ultimate Portable Console”. It’s a hybrid machine that you can play ANYWHERE. On the go, at home, doesn’t matter. All of these are made possible thanks to their removable tablet-like screen and detachable controllers.
Nintendo commented on their web page: “The mobility of a handheld is now added to the power of a home gaming system to enable unprecedented new video game play styles”
After being unsuccesull at gathering a solid fan base with Nintendo Wii U and getting outdistanced by Sony Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch may actully become the next great thing. I would buy one of these. But we have to wait its release in March 2017.
You must have spotted Nintendos brand games in the video such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of Fire, Super Mario Kart and Splatoon. These are just a fraction of things that avait us.
Nintendo also revealed some of their key partners which are Activision, EA, Capcom, Konami, Sega, Square Enix and Ubisoft. What a party, huh?? I expected some badass stuff from this patnership.
Nintendo Switch will bring back the retro concept of cartridges. Yes, it will be using cartridges. But it won’tbe compatible with Nintendo 3DS cartridges or Wii U discs. We also don’t know the technical specifications for the upcoming console. Many more details are to be revealed to the public, but I guess we will have to wait till the official release to actually see what it is.
