First of all, let’s start by defining what this baby does and for which audience it is for. Havit HV MS672 is definetely a mouse for comfortable gamers/users who seek a mouse for a cheap price which won’t give them problems with their budget and also has great enough features to provide a comfortable all purpose use

It may be a great choice for people who don’t seek top of the game high tech features  (which will cost more than little) at the same time looking for a cool and comfortable gaming mouse which can suit to all their needs. It’s the type of hardware that gets the job done while offering some great visuality.

From the beginning I must mention that this baby definetely has some plusses and minuses. It is not a super duper best of the best mouse and it can’t provide you every bit of advantage like some other epic gaming mice like Logitech G502 or Razer Deathadder , so don’t expect to obtain a pro-gamer level quality from it. I’m being honest to you here. No promotions, no upsells.

I can only tell you what Havit HV MS 672 is all about but it’s you who is going to make the decision wheather if this is the right choice for you or not.

So let’s take a look at it’s technical specifications:

Design and Looks

Havit HV MS672 has an aggressive design overall with all the sharp edges and cracky design it has. I really like the looks of it becaus that I myself like aggresive designs. Also the side lights and Magic Eagle icon makes it all better.

Well, I know from myself that some people are more comfortable with visual learning. That’s why I’m going to share with you a little video review to make things easier from the start:

Let’s start with one of the most important design factors. Ergonomics. Actually, all mice are ergonomic in nature, some are more comfortable than others, some are not, some are more suitable for certain tasks etc.. But for Havit HV MS672 I can say that it has ergonomics which almost any person can be comfortable with, especially people with big hands.

It is quite suitable for palm grip and claw grip users on average, but everyone can find their sweet spot on it. This baby has a finger support at the side for your unused finger to rest. If you want to check out a mouse suitable for smaller hands you can check out our Logitech G300S review.

If you don’t know what are claw grip, palm grip and other stuff like that, you can check out our What’s a gaming mouse? article.

One of the strongest perks that Havit HV MS672 has is it’s visual charm. The shattered design is really satisfying to the eyes. Some of the major gaming companies have been manufacturing mice with cracked design where light is emitting from beneath those cracks and they look awesome, that’s a plus for me. Also, I’ve already mentioned that Magic Eagle icon looks great too.

Performance and Tracking

Judging by the extremely low price for a gaming mouse, don’t expect from it to provide you the abilities which you can find in high tech gaming mice.  Apperantly it’s not a pro-gamer class mouse, but it doesn’t mean that it is worth nothing. Actually many people who use Havit HV MS672 are really happy with their mice, we’ll get to that.

Havit HV MS672 review

As mentioned in the specifics, Havit HV MS672 has a 4 level DPI switch where you can select from 800/1200/1600/2400 DPI. Usually people and mostly casual gamers find their sweet spot around 2400 DPI, which is pre-tought by Havit I suppose, and that’s why many manufacturers usually give players ability to set their DPI to 2400. You can also lower your DPI when there’s a sniping action going on or you just need more precision on a long range.

You don’t know about DPI or it oesn’t maks sense to you?? You can check out our article: What is mouse DPI? Mouse DPI explained

But there is something that I didn’t like about the DPI is that there are no indicators on the mouse to give the sign which DPI you’re on. Now that was a great sin for me. It’s quite sad that they haven’t put on a DPI indicator to it. To understands whih DPI you’re on you must move your mouse and determine yourself which one is it. Or you could just memorize as they’re only 4 of them.

But I really think that it’s a big minus on the scoreboard. They could have put that feature and made everything easier.

Havit HV MS672 has a gold plated USB connctor which can improve at sinal transmission. The wire cord is pretty durable and strong. Else of that, click responses are great and it’s estimated that clicks can have a life span of 5,500,000. That’s a lot of clicks which can take a lot of time before your mouse starts having responsing problems.

About the Epic Lights

I must admit that there both things that I liked and couldn’t like about the lights . Overall, I really much liked the lights. There are 7 light colors which you can see in Havit HV MS672 and they look great behind the shattered effect of the mouse. This look can amaze many people and that’s what I liked about the lights. They’re also constantly changing colors with a “breathing” effect.

These features are great epecially if you have a backlit keyboard that you can match this mouse.

The thing that I didn’t like about is that the lights can’t be constant. They will keep changing colors and you can’t stop them on a certain one. Well, I don’t actually mind it but some people might not like it. That also means that you can’t identify your DPI by color change, which is a minus.

But overall, lights are great in my opinion.

What Do Others Think About It?

One of the best ways to determine whether a mouse is worth or not is to look at real user reviews.  That’s what I do everytime to take opinions of real people who actually used this mouse.

Havit HV MS672 got really good ratings from their users on Amazon. It has 4 stars out of 5 from 1648 user reviews. There are of course also some negative reviews, there is always a possibility of complications, but positive comments seriously outnumber them.

Where Can You Find One??

The best place to get one of these bad boys for yourself is Amazon.com. Thanks to the great retail and customer service of Amazon and by taking into consideration that millions of people are using it, it’s the #1 choice for most items you can find online. I don’t even have to mention that you can check out many real user reviews from there.

I can say that $9 price is a steal for this kind of a mouse and that’s a point where Havit HV MS672 has a big advantage. It’s the best pal of your budget. I’m providing you the link to get yourself one:

Pros and Cons

Now that we’re coming to a conclusion, it would be logical to summarize the whole plusses and minuses.

– 4 level DPI switch is a great option for multi-type gaming.

– Havit HV MS672 has good ergonomics and even people with relatively large hands can get really comfortable with it.

– Great looks with epic shattered design.

– 7 different colors which switch between with a “breathing” light effect which in my opinion looks epic.

– Plug and play. No software needed in order to use this mouse.

– Durable wire cord.

– A price which I can call “almost free” $9 are you serious??

– Buttons are not programmable

– Light colors are constantly changing and can’t stabilize the lighting on a certain color. I don’t really know if it’s a plus or minus, each person will have their own preferance.

– Rough on surface without mouse pad

I’m looking for a cheap gaming mouse that will act as a backup whilst I’m in the process of building my next rig.
I don’t think you can go far wrong with this mouse – particularly given its price!
I also think that the changing lights is actually rather cool, particularly as a lot of games are probably played in dark rooms.
The only real downside I can see is that you cannot programme the buttons – but hey, you just can’t really complain at that price!

      Hey Boyo))

I think this mouse definetely is for you! It can support you well as a backup. The lights are pretty cool, as you mentioned. You will be ultra satisfied if you like shiny and epic looking things.

As you said, you can’t programme the buttons, but for this price it’s a fact that you won’t bother.

Thanks for writing this! I’m looking for a new gaming mouse right now (Just built a brand new rig a couple weeks ago) – Trying to upgrade from my Redragon Lavawolf. I was considering either this or the Logitech G502.

The G502 appears to have better features and higher build quality (Budget isn’t a huge concern here) based on my research, but I really like the design of the Havit HV M672.

My main concern isn’t price, but size. I have large hands and I use the “Claw” grip, so smaller mice can be very uncomfortable on my thumb and palm. Trying to avoid carpal tunnel here! Which mouse do you think would work out better for me?

    Thanks in advance.

      Hey Cohen!!

Thanks for your interest. My answer would be simple: If you are willing to pay, then get yourself Logitech G502, you won’t regret it. But as i wrote, if you want a mouse that will work just fine for your comfortable gaming needs and don’t want to spend way out of your budget, than Havit HV MS672 may be a considerable choice for you.

Don’t worry about the hand thing, they both are good for many hand types. Havit HV MS672 is actually very suitable for large hands. I also would suggest you getting a Sentey Revolution Pro.
