If you’re a seasoned gamer tan it’s probably a very low chance for you to not remember the epic Jazz Jackrabbit game!!!! I remember those times when I was a little kid but enjoying it like hell!! Windows 98 boys and girls know what I mean.
My little history: I was introduced to my gamer life with a Sony Playstation One and I was gaming like crazy. Then when I had switched to a PC I explored the new wonders of this gaming world and our sources were limited back in those days. There weren’t many games getting released everyday which is the current situation now. We had DoS games and it was an epc experience. Then I’ve explored Jazz Jackrabbit and it has become one of the life long memories of my gaming life.
Watching this gameplay video makes me shed tears:
After the era of ex-OS systems some of the oldschool epic games have been lost to the void of “Retro Games Graveyard”. I know that many people enjoy retro games via emulators (I’m one of them) but a reach for wide crowds via gaming networks, in my opinion, were a must for some signature games. Jazz Jackrabbit is one of them and it’s now available at GOG for people who want to hone the kickass retro game and add it to their shopping cart to store it in their archive eternally!!
Also Epic Pinball is one of the games which has been added to the revived retro games caravan. GOG -the distributor site has clearly wanted to revive these rero games and give them the credit that they deserved. Jazz Jackrabbit Collection and Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Collection can be picked up for $9.99 while Epic Pinball goes with the price tag of $5.99.
Personally, I’m not a huge fan of Epic Pinball but when it comes to Jazz Jackrabbit I won’t even hesitate a second to buy the bundle of both Jazz Jackrabbit games!! Now it’s up to you. Enjoy your good old retro games!!
