I’m a non PC-gamer, but my cousin does have a friend is a zelous PC gamer, and takes his Razor products very seriously. Forgive my choice of words since I’m not a PC gamer, he’s got a Razor naga as well as a gaming keyboard. Awesome review, good thing you give links and specifictaions about two different products.

    Hi, DRattlesnake,

Firstly, I would like say that this article is very informative even though I’m not familiar with this gaming program, I can sense it and wanted to comment this article from the ‘outsider’ perspective.

Secondly, I have got the new knowledge too. Like other majority people, we don’t know, in order to get effective result in game, we should use the specific mouse/mice, we can’t simply use the normal one.

Thirdly, many jargon/terms used in this article and glossary will help it for people like me.

    • admin says:

Hey Hasmiza) Glad that it was helpful for you. There is no rule for gaming with peripherals but everyone has their own choice and selecting your specific peripheral really eases offeverything. Thanks for your comment

  3. Paul says:

Thanks for the comparison of the Razer Naga and Razer Deathadder. I game regularly and if I were to choose, I would probably pick the Deathadder because, aside from the fact that it’s a bit cheaper, I don’t really need all the buttons that the Naga offers. I have owned mice with lots of buttons and I never really find myself using any more than a few of them, namely for DPI up-down and back/forward. I’ll look into both of them a little more. Thanks again.

  4. Jenette says:

I am not a PC-gamer myself but for someone who is not your article was very helpful and informative. If someone was new to this hobby and needed some helpful information, they could definitely come to you. You show the benefits of each and which is better based on what games you play. Great job! I liked your whole website by the way!

  5. Ananomyx says:

I personally like the razer naga best from the 2 mice. My brother is addicted to buying different computer mice and will go into detail about what he likes from each. He mentions that sometimes it is hard to choose one favorite since one might lack a feature that another one has. I personally like how the Razer Naga feels in my hand and the smoothness of it when Im playing my shooter games. Thanks for this awesome review!

    • admin says:

Thank you for your interest! Your brother is damn right. There are many mice out there and you can find something new with each one. Sky is the limit….

  6. Debra says:

Your website is really cool. I like the pictures, the content, the way it’s layed out. But you might want to check to see what category you have this in because when I searched under my interests, Animals and Self-Help, yours came up. So you might want to check because if you have it in the right category, you’ll get way better input from people who have more interest and knowledge in this subject.

    • admin says:

Ahahahahaha thank you)) I didn’t knew about the category misunderstanding. Thanks for warning, and thanks for your kind words!!!

  7. Benjamin says:

Wow, amazing reviews, especially on the Razer Naga. That’s a mouse that would be great to have, and an especially good deal at only $69.00. Gamers delight with all those extra side buttons.

Keep me posted with the newest mice that come out. Keep up the amazing reviews and helping people find awesome gaming equipment.

  8. Billy Hunter says:

I was really into Runescape not to long ago and I can remember never using a mouse like this. The Razer Naga would have been really neat to use and would of helped with my efficiency in like all my activities such as high alchemy and woodcutting but it’s never to late to get a hold of one of these bad boys I suppose 🙂 I really adore your passion , Duru! Do you play runescape at all?

    • admin says:

I was a HUGE fan of Runescape!!! I used to play it way far back, suppose it was 2006-2007. But i still check out the news from Runescape. As i see the graphcs got better, but i’m so glad that they kept the whole concept of the game as it was before. That is the thing that made me addicted to it back then.

  9. bioelectrobot says:

I didn’t know there was such a thing as mice designed specifically for gaming. This is awesome. I think I know the answer, however, I just want to verify, does MMO mean Massive Multiplayer Online? I am definitely behind the times when it comes to gaming. 19 buttons? That is incredible! Are there games that actually make use of all 19 buttons? Gaming is becoming quite complex. I like the idea of complex games since it provides more mental stimulation than the average game. However, I might need to get a PhD in gaming to understand all this. 🙂 These are high quality mice. I like reading the technical details. Great review. I’ll have to explore your site in more detail. Thanks.

    • admin says:

Thank you for your interest, i really appreciate it. Yes, MMO means Massive Multiplayer Online and yes, there are games that you can use all these additional features, but that is all up to you. Gaming is not only an entertainment tool anymore, but it’s the same as the massive motion picture industry. Games have their own philosophy and message, and they are masterpieces where art meets engineering.

  10. Billy Hunter says:

Whoa did i just read that correctly.. it helps with photoshop? I am a photoshop user myself and don’t have this mouse. WHAT? Why don’t i have this mouse yet.. it’s so weird how I never got one before.. well i have seen my buddies with these but i never ever even looked up this specific mouse when I did look them up. This is definitely something to loook into for christmas.. am i right?! I can create so many images on photoshop with this razer naga!

    • admin says:

Hey Billy! Great that i could be helpful! The main purpose of Razer Naga isn’t meant for photoshop, but you can definetely use it for photoshop if you program it in the right way.

  11. Anthony says:

    Hey man,

You opened my eyes a little bit more to these two gaming mice. I think I am going to start to budget towards the Razer Naga because I think all those extra buttons would be pretty cool to have for WOW. I am concerned that it is way less comfortable though on the other hand. What do you think?

    • admin says:

Hey Anthony) Thanks for your interest. Razer Naga is a good choice. Actually it’s hard to say that it’s not comfortable. It’s all about if it suits you or not. It’s ergonomics are great. So if the featuures of Razer Naga are the ones you looking for, i would say go for it!

  12. Jack Doyle says:

some of the jargon was a little technical for me but i feel i definitely got a good understanding of what each mouse would do and what each would better than the other and what kind of game each would be suited for. Really liked the links back to previous information that helped to clarify what you were talking about. And of course video is always helpful when learning something new.

  13. Christian says:

I am not a hardcore gamer anymore, I used to be when I was younger, but when I was it was console gaming, not computer games. Gaming on the PC however, has always intrigued me. These gaming mice look legit, are they functional for everyday purposes? Are they kid friendly? I ask this because my 7 year old son is getting into gaming now, and I would definitely purchase one for him.

    • admin says:

Hey Christian! These mice areare definetely functional for every day purposes and i can comfortably say that they’re even more useful than standart computer mice. But fo a 7 year old i can’t give a decent comment. If he can learn how to program buttons of these mice, then he will be aright with it)

  14. Steve says:

I didn’t know that there is so much to owning a gaming mouse until I came here. I’m not so much of a gamer nowadays but still, using a gaming mouse makes me feel better and much more comfortable. Very information article by the way. Thanks for sharing.

  15. Kevin says:

This was a very interesting and informative article.

I have been looking for a new mouse. Specifically, one that can keep up with all the gaming that I do and one that can perform correctly when I do day to day internet browsing. This mouse seems to cover all of the bases and would be a great buy for anyone.

    Thank you for the information.

  16. John Rico says:

I’m planning to buy gaming pc and thinking of buying razer peripherals like the headset, mice and keyboard. I heard many good things about razer like they are durable, and their programs is good. But it is kinda expensive. For you what’s the best mouse? Whats the bang for the buck mouse?

    • admin says:

Well, Razer is pretty good and they’ve prooved their skills with many of their successfull peripherals over and over again. They make great peripherals for hardcore gaming and I think you won’t be dissapointed with them. Of course there may be faulty manufactured goods at every company, so if you haven’t come across with a situation like this, you will experience a GREAT gaming session with Razer.

The thing is, you should know what you want from a mouse. There is no such thing as “THE PERFECT MOUSE”. Every mouse has their pluses and minuses. Some are better in quality and more expansive, some lack some features but cheaper and etc… The thing is what are you going to use your mouse for? Is it for FPS or MMO? Should it be wireless, should there be weight adjustment? What kind of sensor should it have?

These are all important factors when it comes to choosing a gaming peripheral. You should read our How To Choose A Gaming Mouse Article for better understanding)) Just click to our menu icon at left of the sidebar to get started ;))

  17. Caleb Kim says:

I always really find the comparison of two tech items really interesting. My favorite of these types of posts is the discussion of the Corsair K70 vs the Blackwidow Chroma. In general, I think the razer DeathAdder is a better all-around mouse, while the razer naga is only good for MMO gaming. I couldn’t imagine using the naga as my everyday mouse!

    • admin says:

Well it’s actually depended on person. Some people who are using design software like Illustrator or 3DsMax may prefer Razer Naga for daily use as Razer Naga gives them the ability to use a lot of hotkeys with your thumb, but of course Deathadder is a wiseer choice when it comes to FPS gaming.

I like them both and every one of them have their own pluses.

  18. jschicanha says:

with computer becoming popular i have bought my self but please don’t laugh at me when i say i use to find it more hard to use the mouse on my laptop, i am even planning to order a razer naga for myself for it looks accurate and easy to use

please if you happen to come across any related information concerning razer update me i’m very much interested

    • admin says:

Using a professional gaming mouse, no matter what task you’re dealing with, is a vise choice because a gaming mouse will deliver you an extensive performance.

Your mouse and keyboard is your only interface between you and your computer. Improvingbetter with them will improve your overall experience. Razer Naga may be a really vise choice especially if you’re using design software. Imagine all those macros you can install. So, I wouldn’t hestate to buy a Razer Naga, but if you’re a FPS player you may get along better with Razer Deathadder.
